Join Girl Scouts at Camp Firefly.
This year's theme is under the sea. Play water games, perform on a stage, explore oceanic science through STEM, bring home clay creations, along with arts and crafts projects, and most of all enjoy smores around a campfire.
We are the only twilight camp run by GSCNC. We are located at Camp Crowell in Oakton, VA.
We offer a fun and safe way to explore camp after the sun goes down without the commitment of staying the night.
Because our camp takes place in the evening, it does not interfere with day time activities.
Our short hours and flexible staff gives us more opportunities to create accommodations for anxious campers.
Our camp is great for new campers who want to see the forest at night, and older scouts who love to stay up late.
We offer 2 sessions for you to chose.
Session I — July 20 — 24, 2026 — 6:00 — 9:00 PM
Session II— July 27 — July 31, 2026 — 6:00 — 9:00 PM
Camp Firefly is an evening camp that is open to:
Girls currently in Grades K – 3 as Campers $70/ Session
Girls currently in Grades 4 – 6 as Campers $80/ Session
Girls currently in Grade 7 as Aides in Training (AITs) $40/ Session
Girls currently in Grades 8 – 11 as Aides $40/ Session
Younger children and sons of Adult Volunteers $40/ Session
Adult Volunteers receive a 50% Discount for Campers
Camp Scholarships are available for those who need them.
Please complete your request before registering for camp. Full payment must be made at the time of registration.
